Architect Tutorial Manual - Version 2008

Ideal For Intermediate To Advanced VectorWorks Users

This is an exercise based training manual that leads the user through the Architect concepts exercise by exercise. Each exercise is designed to teach you how to use tools or techniques. Along the way, you are encouraged to develop your own project to bring all these techniques together.

It starts by covering the basic concepts of layers and classes and how they relate to making your office Layer and Class standards, then moves on to cover things like the Property Line tool, Site Modelling, Spaces (how to use these to make a quick model of the project), Walls and the Wall Type Library, roofs and curved roofs, annotation tools, Note Database and more.

The manual also comes with a CD containing a PDF version of the book, with embedded movies that demonstrate many of the concepts explained in the book. The CD also contains all of the tutorial exercise files.
