Support Technical Support: General Information

Technical support is available free of charge to all registered users of VectorWorks 2008, by email, fax or telephone. Support is also available to users of VectorWorks 12, until 31st January, 2008 (four months after the release of VectorWorks 2008). Users of older versions may either upgrade or subscribe to a support plan to continue their technical support. Use the link to the right to download the extended technical support order form, which includes pricing.

Technical support is designed to help you overcome technical difficulties in using our software. It is not intended as a source of training. We recommend you consult the User Guide or other resources on this site before contacting us, in order to attempt to resolve the problem yourself.

When you do contact us, please supply the following information or have it at hand:

• Registered user's name
• VectorWorks serial number
• Exact VectorWorks version
(for example 11.5.0)
• Exact operating system version
(e.g. Mac OS 10.4.9 or Win XP SP2)
• A brief description of the problem

If the problem involves other hardware such as a printer, please provide the printer brand and model, as well as the printer driver version.

Email is the preferred method for obtaining technical support and will often bring the fastest response.
